Recently we decided to visit Fees Middle School to take a look at the free lunches being provided kids in Tempe this summer, regardless of financial need. When we arrived at Fees, there was a note on the office door.
There was no explanation as to why Fees and Connelly Middle Schools were dropped from the program. Perhaps families in those areas are able to shop for themselves at nearby grocery stores and even prepare their own kids’ meals.
